As a consumer I find it ridiculous to be paying a few hundred dollars for a bottle of perfume and can't believe they can't reduce their profit margins by a few dollars to ensure all suppliers in their supply chain can make a living. On a practical note, I wonder if it would be better for the region to start making and selling their own perfumes, or to just get the dad to go get a paid job at tourist spots - they would get paid so much more and can also get tips.
